NeoCore’s Gene Chip/DNA Chip
Biochip is a broad term referring to miniaturized biological analysis devices. As the chip can be all-inclusive types, NeoCore uses nucleic acid molecules as the detection basis for biochip development. First of all, the nucleic acid sequence of the detection target must be studied and the target probe is designed based on the specific nucleic acid sequence. Then the designed nucleic acid probe is fixed on the substrate and amplified with the appropriate primers to complete the chip production. As the designed nucleic acid in the specimen is extracted and amplified, the hybridization reaction is performed on the chip. The sample analysis is then completed with a signal displayed through chemical colorimetric method.
NeoCore’s biochip analysis technique can be applied on any field of nucleic acid sequence detection. In addition to NeoCore’s products, the company also cooperate with many research centers for applications related to in vitro medical testing reagents, pathogen identification, food safety verification, and animal and plant genes or viruses screening. The biggest advantage of applying biochip analysis is that many different targets can be analyzed using one sample at the same time. NeoCore can also provide the most immediate and complete solutions and suggestion based on customer needs.
